James Gray, (CB handle Diamond Jim), has been driving coast to coast and training students for over 25 years. During this time, he has put together a training program that assists a person, regardless of experience, in obtaining a Class A CDL. This program assists students in learning the basics, as well as the practical knowledge required by today's truck driving industry. Seeing a need for a different training program, Diamond Jim consulted major truck driving companies and safety coordinators to put together a curriculum that includes CVTA standards. Not only teaching people how to get a CDL, Ozark Driving Institute wants the day-to-day activities that all truck drivers do nationwide, regardless of employer, to bring you to a level above a normal truck driver training school student.
